Security Engine

 

The Security Engine controls  who can create documents and who can edit documents

Visibility of documents is not in scope

 

Note that this applies only to the document envelope and not to specific sections within the document

 

The Security Engine is responsible for translating role based policy settings on templates ( and ad-hocs on Note to File into real security access for people.The Security Engine is also responsible for ensuring that changes to Role holders will immediatley ( or within 12 hours ??) update access to documents

 

 

Initiator - the person who has ( or can ) start a document

Author - any person that can modify a document ( edit that document in lay man's terms )
